What kind of ink is this? - Brando signature

Hoping that others might have an idea.  I think this Brando signature is good (although feedback pro or con would be welcome). 

My question is more what kind of ink has been utilized.  The seller states it is a fine felt tip but I think it looks to be more of a vintage biro ballpoint.  I've included a highly contrasted image as well.  I see scratchier aspects of it, skips, some slight bleed off of the letters and aging that looks more ballpoint.

All bets off for me with that source. To me same as "Toad" or" Tampico", so to speak.
