Actually I lied a few pages back when I said if I had the money to spend I would. I'm just cheap!!! I love getting things (and I do) but I HATE spending my money. My wife is actually VERY reasonable. She gives me very little crap about what I spend. I have to be one of the FEW married guys who's wife is happy with flowers instead of gold or diamonds. I got her fairly big stud earrings to match her engagement and custom made matching wedding ring (which she didn't want) and she said "I really don't need these". No interest in fur. I'd like her in a "safer" car and she won't go test drive an Audi. Guess I'll have to spend my extra cash of autographs!
And that leads me to: I am still looking for any signed Yankee card from 52T to 93T and 81-93 Fleer and Donruss. I have about 90% of them but need most of the tough ones and the long deceased. Have plenty of "common" Yankees to trade but also have some tougher guys and lots on non Yankees cards and other autos. Wants are very specific at this point. I'll add the Bowmans if I see a good deal but I am working on getting the Topps, Fleer, and Donruss near completion before I undertake that. I have not one Mantle or Maris (signed card), nor most of the Howards and the others who are long deceased. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This stuff everyone is posting is absolutely fantastic. By chance is there a SHOW IT OFF type section as opposed to "What'snew in your collection". Or maybe we could feature people and their collections? I'd love to see some more complete photos. Heck, I might even be willing to spearhead it (with some guidance from the experts).
I hope everyone has a wonderful Independence Day!

AWESOME STUFF GUYS...THOSE LARSEN ARE JUST SICK...ALSO THOSE VINTAGE CARDS AND TEAM SIGNED PIC IS COMING ALONG REALLY SWEET !!!
I love the NO BETTING sign in the background. These are all great pics and awesome stuff. I REFUSE to look at the music sigs because there is NO WAY I am going down that road. I wouldn't have any money left for retirement! But they are awesome too!!!!!!!!!!!
We'll see what today brings ... the day is early but I am not expecting much.
Chris
Added a couple today. First, from Chet Trail who was on the 1964 Yankees World Series roster but unfortunately never played a game in the majors. This, to me, is what being a true fan is. I don't know anyone who wouldn't want a Mantle, Jeter, or Mo but I'll take this any day (ARod doesn't even make my Yankee list). I know Mr Trail truly enjoyed my autograph request and I truly appreciate his response.
Also added Bob Borkowski to my Ebbets Field photo. Not many Brooklyn Dodgers left at this point.
I love the ebbets field signed photo! That is just awesome!! but you hurt my feelings saying that about AROD, he is a beast, and while he might not be squeaky clean, his records will be around forever. I like the fact that he isnt just a corporate mouthpiece drone.
Sorry about ARod David : (
But thank you for the comments about the autos!
He sure was a helluva ball player and he still is pretty good. He's had some tremendous seasons as a Yankee too. And I'd be happy to shake his hand or accept his autograph but there's something that just doesn't make him a Yankee to me (personally). It's not because he showed up later in his career but I just can't put my finger on it. For some reason he doesn't go with Mantle, Munson, Jeter, Mo, Bernie, or even Nettles as far as being a "Yankee" but I do agree he has had an impressive career.
