What's the Scoop on Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators, a New Authentication Company?

Could it be real... as in they know what they are doing?

http://gfaauthenticated.com/guarantee/   could it be that TPA's have some competition?

If authenticity is determined under such “Guarantee Resubmission” procedures to be found non-authentic, GFA shall pay the purchase price for the autograph in question or at the owner of the signature’s option to replace the signature with a GFA authenticated signature of the original signer of similar item and value.  GFA will also refund the reauthentication fee and postage and insurance costs incurred by the signature owner in sending the signature to GFA. It is understood that GFA will replace the signature or refund the purchase price after reexamination and a verifiable receipt of price paid is supplied to GFA.

Of course, it would be nice to know what the procedures for determining non-authentic are..

Service pricing model seems reasonable;

Since it's headed up by Steve Rocchi could there be another player in town?;

Since 1991 Stephen Rocchi former PSA President, and founder, a former President, CEO and Founder of Global Authentication and was responsible for hiring JSA authenticator Jimmy Spence also a former PSA authenticator. Stephen Rocchi has been instrumental in bringing the three largest authentication companies into the sports world.”

Since it stands for Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA). and so long as we keep certain FDE's out of it - wouldn't it be nice.

the "buy it now" price is all you need to look at. if these were authentic, they would last about 30 seconds on ebay, as I or someone else would scoff it up.

This GFA certed crap is being sold at ubid.com also.

Look at these hideous Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio forgeries.

Here's another Mickey Mantle forgery with a COA from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA).

This Mickey Mantle forgery is listed by Ebay seller "tlnoir."

any one know how to get a hold of these people they owe Gambell (Gambino) some money thanks

I might. Who sold it to him?

Here's another piece of garbage with a COA from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (Steve Rocchi).

These are the typical Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams forgeries with a COA from GFA that are usually listed on the "AtAuction" and "UBid" websites.

The buyers of this crap usually purchase this stuff cheap at the aforementioned websites and look to flip this garbage on Ebay.

This seller responsible for this listing is Ebay seller "jpdthewood."

I am the seller jpdthewood and I had absolutely no idea these were fakes. Is there a website where I can research these items and this bogus "authentication" that I was sent? I honestly believed them to be real or I would have never listed them. If you look at my feedback, I am not in the business of ripping people off and will remove them ASAP. I am brand new to autographs and clearly got ripped off. If there is any way anyone can give me some info on where I can research this bogus company, it would be appreciated. Thanks a ton guys. The items have been removed, thankfully, before anyone got,screwed.

First, try to get a refund from the person or company you bought it from.  If that doesn't work, and if you paid with a credit card, then go to your credit card company.

What company did you buy these from?

It's amazing that the wannabe collectors who buy these GFA certed forgeries always think they have a "1/1" item.

This particular set of Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams forgeries are listed by EBay seller jasontbi.
