     This is an easy one for me.  Through the years I have requested several autographs from Ernest Borgnine.  For each request he took the time to write a hand written note along with the photo.  Mr. Borgnine is a Hollywood legend!

One of the best interactions with a contemporary TV Icon was with Leslie Neilsen, Surely, he would have wanted us to remember him with the same joy and tears of laughter that he brought us throughout his career;

Mayor: Now Drebin, I don't want any trouble like you had on the South Side last year, that's my policy.

Frank: Well, when I see five weirdos, dressed in togas, stabbing a man in the middle of the park in full view of a hundred people, I shoot the bastards, that's *my* policy!

Mayor: That was a Shakespeare-In-The-Park production of 'Julius Caesar,' you moron! You killed five actors! Good ones!

I love contacting them, since all their music helped me in afghanistan.

j.d salinger refusing one of my letters for an autograph request, and writing refused for j.d.salinger in his own hand on the envelope.

Pretty cool. I read Katharine Hepburn used to do that too.

Good morning,

My best surprise has been my convocation at Pakistan's'Embassy in Brussel(Belgium)to meet the president Perwez and to recept his photo wiht a personnal autograph.

I have spent one hour with the President and Ambassador.

I collect MMA/UFC fighters and love many of my TTM successes. A recent success has been Forrest Griffin.
i wold say all of them are my favorite, bt, if i had to choose right now it would be my robin williams. the man is a legend and a genius. i really am trying to obtai n a geniune mohammed ali ! any help would be great.
I would have to say Frank Kappeler, one of Doolittle's Raiders. He signed the card I made for him plus enclosed a short letter telling of his experiences after the raid on Tokyo. Unfortunately, Mr. Kappeler passed away this past year.
I collect cartoon, comicbook and illustration artwork and have close to a thousand signed pieces, many autographed to me, by everyone from the late great Frank Frazetta, Jack Kirby, Bob Kane, Joe Shuster, and hundreds more. But my favorite "through the mail" pieces arrive in the mail unbidden every Xmas. I get a signed color print (early ones were hand-colored) of a Playboy cartoon from artist Frank Thorne. It's the one that appears in the December issue, and I have a sweet little collection of them now. I've known Frank since the early 1970's when I produced comicbook conventions and he was GOH at SonjaCon (a Red Sonja-themed event). My wife and I know it's officially holiday season when Frank's card arrives.

I recently attended the UK BAFTA awards ceremony and was fortunate enough to meet and obtain an autograph of J.K.Rowling and a few others.

Unfortunately Paul McCartney didnt stop to sign but i will get one one day he passed me by within 2ft of where i was standing.

As they say there,s always a next time.

Happy hunting and good luck all

Through the mail i would say davy jones, peter tork, and micky dolenz of the monkees. I have gotten at least 3 or more replies from each of them. It is to bad that micky does not but he used to for years.
