Where can I find a Sharon Tate autograph and how much would I expect to pay?

Does anybody know where I can find a Sharon Tate autograph or know anyone that is willing to sell? Because they are pretty rare, what would I expect to pay for one?

Ah, as I said, "...unless I am missing something...". Well, that is a cool connection. It is still an all uphill battle though with such poor condition. It has no real content in term of what was written.  It should be heavily discounted. But if you pointed out it was the very last film she completed alive I might think differently. She was killed in August and this film came out in December of the next year. That is a story that sells. But the condition...I couldn't.

Gabriele,

Did you read the overall context I mentioned? This was the last film she completed while alive? That is interestng. But the condition battle is all uphill.

Hi Eric!

That is true, I would believe that she probably signed this one year prior to her death in 1969 which would likely add some value to the auto, the only thing as you’ve mentioned now is condition and appeal.

"...Still, it's passed two well regarded sources...."

You were not here for the Freddie Mercury handwritten letter than was passed by two of the top Rock authenticators and was imediately shown by folks here to be a very poor forgery in execution and the content had Freddie going to the wrong schools and so on! The situation was fully corrected but really should never have happened.

I apologize for offering my opinion.  It has absolutely has no validity as shown above and I don't have the experience.  I'll yield and bow out.

Etienne,

You know that is not necessary. All opinions are wanted. But why so touchy and extreme lately? It's Saturday - relax :)

Etienne, why do you keep rewording your posts? That is rude after responses have been made unless correcting an error or number. etc. You just added the "...as shown above..." - well, that's me.

Again, what is wrong Etienne? Your making mountains out of dust from your own mind. Why are you so defensive? I never said anything about the validity of your observations or experience. Both are valued here. I don't even know you. I have no problem with you - what is yours with me?

"...Yield and bow out...? Of what?

Etienne,

Please, stop altering your posts repeatedly. We do not tolerate that here. Thank you.

I know that we shouldn’t always rely on third party authentication as it’s mostly 50/50, however this also passed Beckett so relatively speaking passing three of the most reputable TPAs does make it more likely it is authentic or the best it can be when trying to sell.

The other option is to learn the hobby and Tate's autograph yourself. It takes years and years and much observation. Then you don't need TPA's and related dopey stickers etc. You would have your own studied opinion.

"...relatively speaking passing three of the most reputable TPAs does make it more likely it is authentic or the best it can be when trying to sell...."

For most buyers, yes. I don't sell, buy or recommend anything with TPA. Overpriced often enough maxed out in value. Those darn freeloading advertising stickers...yuk. It suggests I don't know myself. In my area, I do.

Sounds high. $2K would be more like it. IMHO.

That sounds about right, Joe.
