Who would be the hardest celebrity to obtain an autograph?

I heard Marlon Brando was a tough gig to have sign, that he even asked trivia questions and if you got them right he would sign.
So who is the ball breaker?

Rockaway is selling a signd check i believe for 3K. Although I don't know his signature it isvsigned Prince Nelson.
You know, as much as I like his music, I don't know Prince's autograph at all. But man...that's really bad for Guernsey's to be accepting of Morales's LOA. You're right...how could they not know of his reputation?

few k, James probably marked up a little though.

I'd love to have his, but I'd rather save that money for a Lennon.

I always heard Brando was basically impossible.

Another one that I've heard is impossible is Robert Redford. I don't know from personal experience but I heard he shuns crowds and refuses autographs at Sundance.

He was tough. On the set of Don Juan Demarco, there was a group of collectors who waited for him until 2 AM by his trailer. He came back from shooting, saw the group and asked how many there were. They told him and he said as long as no more showed up he would sign their stuff.

He held true. Signed multiples. He was so rare and it was such an event that one of the collector magazines said that the spurt wouldn't effect overall value.

I knew two of the people there that night and was lucky enough to get one. Mine even came with a letter from Jan Schray, who was a legend in autograph collecting to us older folks.

Good luck trying to get a signature out of Thomas Pynchon!

Or Stephen Hawking.  Although there is a story there...
