Would you (or wouldn't) restore Paul and Ringo's signatures on this item if you owned it?

This John and George signed item from 1967 was recently posted on Tracks. It is noted that Paul and Ringo also signed It, but had sadly faded.

You can still see where both Ringo and Paul signed. Just a curiosity question for the group. Would you have this restored or keep as is?

Here is my 3rd state Stereo Butcher cover that was professionally restored by Jaime Mendez Restoration and Conservation (Oceanside, CA). I think he did a great job. I bought it (after it was restored ) two years ago for only $450. I guess I managed to buy it for such a low price on an Ebay auction only because this restoration issue (only the front was restored. No seam splits. Back cover is nice and clean).

Here is my first set purchased back in the 1980's. It the reverse of a Parlophone Records promo card issued in October 1962. It's signed by John & Ringo in black...and by Paul & George in blue. The signatures date to late 1962. I have it nicely matted and framed with an outtake from the "Beatles For Sale" photo session. I had a restorer look at it...and he said it's stable...it's framed nicely with UV glass....you keep it out of direct sunlight...keep it as is!! I like the wear and tear...it shows it's age. What do you think?

Hey Jim that’s one fine set you have there.

Thanks Paul...my first one....still have it hanging in my "Beatles Room" with all the other stuff!!!

That’s great.i think the rough shape really adds to the age.in this case ,the tattered conditionreally makes the piece shine!!

Especially when there seem to be be so many "pristine" vintage sets out there that look like they were signed yesterday...(which they probably were!!!")

you’re probably right!!when I get home later I’m gonna put some of my sets through the wash to obtain this look!!!lmao!!

THAT's the ultimate fan's piece! Carried with them for a decade or two.

Ya think? I like it just the way it is!!!

i love it Jim

Thanks Terrier.....me too!!!
