Hi Mike,

Never got anything or tried from Mellencamp but what I am able to see from my source that I use, there is a very good chance for you with him. 

As I say now a days is, you got to remember that all of these musicians and singers are now very very old and while they might want to sign for you, many of them are not steady enough like they was long time ago.  So sometimes the signature you get isn't as smooth as they used to be.

So, I'd try, cause if you don't....you will never know for sure.
