One of my favorite autographs: Kenneth C. Royall, the last Secretary of War.  He held this position for only two months so I was thrilled to get it from that time frame.

Next Medal of Honor Convention will be in Louisville, Kentucky, Sept. 28 thru Oct. 3. Mark your calendars. Will be planning to go to that one, only 5 hours from where I live.

Welcome, Richard. Want to let you and others here know our lastest sale is now on-line, witha very significant section dedicated to World War II. You might want to view is at www.alexautographs.com. If you'd like any assistance, feel free to give us at a call!

Hi. I just joined the group and thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Rich and, among other things, I collect WW II (Doolittles Raiders, Tuskegee Airmen, Flying Tigers, MOH recipients and air aces), astronauts and X-15 pilots. My son is getting ready to join the Marines so I may start to focus on that branch of the military.

Does anyone collect autographs of anti-war figures?

I just posted the 4th in my Valor series of blogs, this one Col Mitchell Paige, MOH Recipient from WWII. Included are photos of some of what he sent back to me.

I collect Medal of Honor Recipients autographs and have about 40 or so. See my blog for posters I create and their stories.

My collection is modern depending on your definition. I started collecting in I think 1996 or so. However, my earliest autograph is from a WWII vet. When you say 1990 are these guys who made history after 1990 or did you just get the autograph after 1990? I would be interested to hear about who you have?

I collect military autographs but my items are all modern. I do not have any autographs that are real old. My collection dates from now to 1990. I still feel that I collect History though. Thanks,

Robert E. Sigler
