Sweet pick up on the Gattis card Jeffery !
Got Pepper Rodgers in the mail today. He was a quarterback and kicker who was a key contributor to Georgia Tech's 1952 National Championship team, and was the MVP of the 1953 Sugar Bowl. He was the head coach at Kansas from 1967-1970, and guided the Jayhawks to the 1968 Big Eight Conference title, which is the last time the Jayhawks have won a conference.
A few weeks ago, I was able to go and meet softball legend Jennie Finch. She was so nice, and so wonderful to all who showed up. She signed a picture that I brought, and then signed another that she was giving out at her table. She was such a class act, and just a beautiful person - on both the outside and the inside.
Nice story, James. Thanks for sharing with us. It's all about the experience for me, too. :)
James, I have never been to spring training, but from what I hear, it is MADNESS now.
