Pamela Anderson was a generous TTM signer in her early days of stardom. But by the time she married Tommy Lee, she was responding to mail requests with secretarial signatures. This Pamela Lee 8X10 is…Continue
"When I started collecting over 30 years ago, preprints and autopens were usually pretty easy to figure out but there wasn't a lot of info about secretarial TTM signers. Now there is. I have done the research and a significant minority of TTMs I…"
"I'm very skeptical. There are similarities to my Twilight Zone auto insert but I don't like the flow or smoothness of this one.
Granted, he was probably signing a lot of the TZ auto cards for just a few dollars a card so it…"
"Hate to say it Marty, but I think it's a forgery. First of all, allegedly being PSA authenticated but not being in the system is a huge red flag. Could be a clerical error of course, but more likely it's seller shenanigans.
"Glad if I could help. If you don't mind me asking BGK, what is it about the red ink that made you suspicious?
From my perspective it hurts the item a bit aesthetically, but I'm not seeing how that would raise an authenticity question."
"Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Joey Kramer all look very good to me. The JSAs I have show a fuller signature from Brad Whitford, but the B looks good. If they were doing a signing it's logical that he could have signed more rushed when they were…"
"Alan Rickman has a very distinctive signature and this ain't it. Not even close...a very bad forgery.
As others have said, a COA is only as good as the entity behind it. Most forgers include COAs with their sales."
"That's interesting to know Kai, I was not aware of the blindness issue. I sent for her twice, both times asking her to sign one item that I supplied. The first time in 1995 no response. In June of 1999 I tried a different strategy to a…"
"James Gandolfini is tough because his signature is not consistent. I sent him a couple photos in 2000 and he signed one of two for me and JSA passed it. I have a Fans Of the Game certified card of him that has some similarity but not real strongly.…"

Why do you want to join Autograph Live?
As someone who has primarily collected TTM for over 30 years, secretarials and to a lesser extent autopens and preprints have always been the bane of my collecting world. But at the same time I'm fascinated by the research and detecting facet of authentication. The number of forgers on eBay makes me want to puke and I'd like to contribute another positive and honest voice to the hobby I love. Since I have been doing a lot of authentication lately, I periodically come across your forum and enjoy it immensely. "Authenticity is Everything"...those three little words sum up quite succinctly why I want to join this forum!
