I thought this was so great to read and a nice articlein this June A/C. This added help for all people out there one -on -one with the stars. Thanks for the tips and what to look out for and what to do. Great ideals. On your e-mail and twitter one i have seen a few more stars e-mails here lately.It seem a few each month, stars posting there own e-mails? or are they ? and where to contact. Do you think this will be one of the more ways to increase autographs.And to get a better result with the stars. Or is this another way to let someone else handle the dirty work.Or is this a way not do mail- outs anymore at the same time. I was tricked on Facebook here last year on a Billie Pipper and i thought i had the real deal. I was faked out big time. Shame on me, and the person that did it thought it was so funny and cute, signed my photos in crayon's and sent them back too me. Even though they post a UK/England address, e-mailed UK all the right photos and answered the right stuff. I was taken and felt hurt at the end.We just dont Know ?
Being disabled and not able to get out like i want to and i do my Out-Reach to alot of the same stars , but i would like to do more. Plus i live in a very small country town in Ky, and not much goes on here. So i do try to do all i can by mail and e-mails if this is really them ? When you do the mail you just never know, if you will get it back or not. Like Fishing or a crap shot. Now then i have seen in the autograph monthy magazine the most accurate and up -to -date symbols to let us help us with the stars address. Thank you that helps so much.That is so awsome to see now also, and it does help on the saving of postage. I just wanted to know does anyone feel this e-mail and twitter may be the next way to go. With twitter is this like a autograph, i dont know. I dont know how or want to twitter. I'm old fashion and like the mail and to write. It makes me feel so good when i reach out and they reach back. I'm not a writter by any means but does anyone else think this way also ? Have a Blessed Day, Steve Mills,Ky.

Steven in my opinion email is another tool of getting autographs but being authentic is always a question. But in my opinion i have gotten some real ones that way like tim conway for exaple.

Really ! That is so awsome to hear that. How long agao was this and what month did that come out in on his e-mail. I must have missed that one. I was wondering where do you go and find these e-mails at ? Is there a special webb page that is real with stars e-mails. Thanks for the reply Robert ! Very cool indeed. One thing...regarding the column Lou wrote. One good one to get pictures that you want autographed, and not spend a lot on 8x10s, is saving magazine photos you see that you like. For example, I was reading an Entertainment Weekly in the sauna the other day, and there was a full page photo of Katy Perry. Now, I'm not a big Perry fan. But I remembered when she played the House of Blues here recently (a venue that's easy to get people at). This is the perfect thing to get signed. And, when you see these in magazines...whether it's a magazine you own or you're at the doctors or a mechanic, rip out a full page picture you like of a celebrity. Also, you can send them in regular envelopes, as they don't get bad creases when you fold them. And, you won't be stressed if you don't get them back in the mail, since it was just something you ripped out of a magazine, not a color 8 x 10 you bought.

That is a great ideal Josh ! But sometimes we need to watch where we rip out photos in doctors office ect.... Some people and business dont like this, so i do ask. Great ideal and saving money on photos and mailing. Plus your not out anything if it don't come back. And all to gain when and if it does. Thanks for the tip. Good to hear from you....

Josh and Steve, this is exactly what I do with all my old Sports Illustrated magazines. You always get one or two really good shots of an athlete, and I just take the magazine apart, take a pair of scissors and cut along the bend of the middle of the magazine, and send them off. They turn out GREAT everytime. Also, it's not what people would consider a "premium" item that could easliy be sold, especially with the slight creases in it, and celebrites are more inclined to sign something that does not have the appearance of being sold later. I'm glad to see that I think alike with the pros like Josh! :)

Great Minds do Think a Like ! And saving money also is a good way too. And as far as resale later, there are alot of people that like the cover or a photo from other a company. I think they make great collector items also. That is just me !
