DEREK JETER FORGERIES ARE AT AN ALL TIME HIGH DUE TO 3000 HIT MILESTONE

Jeter fans beware....due to Derek Jeter's 3000 hit milestone Jeter forgeries have now struck an all time high on auctions...the top photo's is a perfect example of a G.A.I Jeter forgery that is out there in extremely high numbers...(that forgery style in particular)...Jeter forgeries have been out there for quite some time and are very obvious...the forgeres will never get Jeters auto perfect in my opinion due to the series of loops in his auto...I have seen this style on 8X10s as well...this particular style forgery you can pick out right from the beginning with the letter "D" and those loops for his first name...also how the autograph is all over the place not to tip off the forger of what is so obviously wrong with this horrific forgery style...consumers beware in purchasing any Jeter autographs nowadays...the high number in forgeries and the uneducated buyers out there goes hand and hand that fuels this problem terribly...now on the bottom is a superb authentic Jeter autograph form steiner sports on a Jeter Jersey...as you can see the autos are not even close...the authentic jeter is perfect and fluid...the top Jeter is just a hideous mess...please take extra precaution in purchasing a Jeter auto...do the research...and be prepared to pay a pretty penny for an authentic auto and not a cheap forgery...

Authentic Jeter Signed Jersey from Steiner Sports...

Authentic Jeter single signed ball...

Here is a recent pick from Steiner Sports...as you can see the "BOW TIE''-"OWL EYES'' formation on the end of the auto which lots of forgers try to mimic but never come close to the rest of the formation...

ADDED 8/16/2012 MUST SEE !!!!!

It's amazing that sellers of crap like that have absolutely no conscience.  That's why we expose forgeries like that here!!!!  We are sick and tired of this crap infecting the hobby!!!

The power seller does indicate, "THIS IS GUARANTEED TO PASS ANY REPUTABLE 3RD PARTY AUTHENICATION, OR YOUR MONEY".   Of course reputable is rather vague and in the eye of the beholder.

Anytime, a non-authentic item can be posted for others and those yet to arrive with convincing support of it being a non-authentic item it ought to be posted whether it's from an auction, ebay, craigslist, auction zip, proxi bid and so on.    Perhaps if nothing else someone might avoid throwing $$ away or at least obtain a refund.    I do wonder if this seller would consider AML a reputable 3rd party.

This has got to be one of the ugliest and humorous looking Derek Jeter forgeries I have ever seen.  It's listed with a staring bid of $75.00 or $250.00 "Buy It Now."

It is listed by Ebay seller "trishj174."

It looks like the forger was trying to do a Jeff Nelson auto...this may be the worst attempt if that I have ever seen...
