I was just thinking about the two nicest people I have ever met during my 30 years collecting, who happen to be mentioned above in this title's thread. Soon after I started collecting in the 1980s I had a series of bad experiences with a few autograph dealers , primarily bizarre behavior. I began to think the autograph collecting hobby attracted a "certain" kind of personality and as a result i was turned off for a while. Then at a show in Boston I met Cordelia and Tom Platt. To my delight, here were two wonderful, respectful autograph dealers whose personalities were quite contrary to my earlier experiences. They had a positive , magnetic energy and were way above the "confrontational" side of the hobby/business we unfortunately see too often. I sure do miss talking to them.....
