Celebrities on TV Talk Autographs -- Adam Sandler, Marilyn Manson

I don't know the actors name, but he's the fat dude who played Hurley on the TV show LOST. He was on Jimmy Kimmel Live (who was a big fan of Lost), and he was shown one of the dolls that was made of him. He talked about how cool it was to have a doll designed after him. They made fun of the stuffing in the stomach to make it appear fat.

He then mentioned how shock rocker Marilyn Manson asked him to autograph one for him. He said, "I didn't know what to write on it. I think I wrote "You rock, dude." I figured I'd throw a dude in there to sound cool.

What I found odd was -- Marilyn Manson refused to sign an autograph for me and seven fans that were waiting before he walked into the House of Blues. Yet, he had no problem selling posters signed at the show autographed, for $50 each. That would've been fine, if it was a cool poster. But it was some Xeroxed piece of garbage, on thin paper stock (with just the MM initials). Lame. Especially since he's obviously someone that likes signed things.

On a funnier note, Adam Sandler was on Jay Leno the other night. They started talking about old teachers they had back in school, and Sandler said he was recently visited on the set by one. He autographed a copy of the script and gave it to them. He said, "I dunno, I figured that was a cool thing to do. But then, she handed it back to me later with a grade on it."

This is what cracks me up Josh: Here is 8 people as you describe waiting for M.Manson at the HoB. 8 people to me is a "nothing crowd". It would take an entire minute, perhaps 2 minutes TOPS for this guy to sign. Red lights on Pacific Coast Highway take longer than that. I don't buy this celebrity logic of why, under these types of circumstances, they do not sign.

How flipp'in ideal must conditions be for these dingleberries to sign? You and the other 7 people are at a PUBLIC place, and probably been waiting for a while. Geeeeeeeze, I just do not get the refusal. Its two stinking minutes of thier time. I am sure they always have time to count and spend their $$
