The other night, David Letterman did a bit before Kevin James (King of Queens) came out. He's done it a few times before, but not recently. He talks to the ghost of Bob Hope. And who ever does the voice of Hope, nails it.

This time, when Hope was signing off, he asked Letterman to get Kevin James to sign his DVD of Paul Blart. I literally laughed so loud, I woke up my girlfriend up.

On TMZ, speaking of Kevin James, they showed all the cast members of Grown Ups signing autographs when they left an event to promote the movie (I don't think it was the premiere). Kevin James is the only one that didn't stop for anyone, not even the little kid that was getting photos with all the stars.

Tonight on TMZ, they showed former (and future) light night talk show host Conan O'Brien walking down the street. He was taking photos and signing autographs for lots of fans. The TMZ staff even said he signed a lot.

A few people said stuff like "You're the Johnny Carson of my generation." To which he replied, "I'm more like the Mike Douglas of your generation." (a ref. to the talk show host from the 70s, not the actor)

The cameraman asked him what he thought his autograph was worth and he said, "I don't know, but less and less the more I sign."

Exactly.

And it's the perfect attitude for the celebrities to have.

Indeed, the PERFECT answer by Conan. These guys and gals are worth zillions, stop the worry over dimes and quarters.

I think it was during the last year or so of king of queens i got an autograph of kevin james through the mail and tried again when paul blart came out and noresponse. Leah Remini has always been a good responder. Kevin James was also the host of nick kids awards a few months back so it is sad that he did not at least stop for the kid.
