Ebay Removed My Derek Jeter 2001 Fleer Monumental Moments Autograph Card Listing Policy

Well, it looks like Ebay is now attacking those who are exposing forgeries listed on their website.

Obviously Ebay does not like the fact that I am exposing the forgeries that are listed by their scam sellers.

First, photos of my Derek Jeter "2001 Fleer Monumental Moments" autograph card numbered "85/95."

This is a Fleer issued Derek Jeter autograph card.

Below is the email I received:

After reviewing your eBay account, it appears that you have violated eBay's Trademark Violation - Unauthorized Item policy. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Listings have been removed. A list of items that were removed can be viewed at the bottom of this message.
- We have credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listing(s).

The listing that was removed appeared to violate eBay policy or a rights owner's trademark. Please remember that you are responsible for the quality and authenticity of the products that you offer on eBay. It is against eBay policy to list any counterfeit items.

For more information please see our Replica, counterfeit items, and unauthorized copies policy:

Here are the factors we consider when we review your listing due to authenticity concerns:
-Your listing was brought to our attention by members of the community, who expressed concern with the authenticity of your item. When we receive a report we will investigate and make the most appropriate decision, keeping the interest of the community in mind.
-Insufficient description of the item. When creating a listing, keep your buyer in mind. Most buyers want to know the item's condition, size or dimension, etc.
-When there is a question about the authenticity of an autograph, we require that it has a certificate of authenticity from an approved authenticator. A list of approved authenticators can be found in our help pages.

Please be informed that we are committed to preventing the sale of unlawful goods on our platform. Kindly take note that this removal is not to question you as seller but to help you improve your future sales and make you a better member of the eBay community.

Please be sure your current and future listings follow these guidelines, keeping in mind that additional violations of this policy could result in the suspension of your account.

Maybe "that person" over at Ebay would also like to remove my Derek Jeter "1997 Topps-Issued Rookie Of The Year" autograph card?

Well?

I know you're reading this.........

Well?

Chris,

My favorite quote is by Winston Churchill:

"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.”

A lot of people hate you, Chris. I can't think of a better compliment.

Thank you..from all of us on the white hat side.

Thank you very much, Steve.

The same can be said about you, too.

Many of us here are hated.  It's because we care.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with caring and having a passion to do the right thing no matter the consequences.

And for the vindictive person that removed my auction; this is not done by a long-shot.

I have also sent an e-mail. This Derek Jeter "2001 Fleer Monumental Moments" autograph card numbered "85/95." is without question 100% Authentic.

Christopher, as you already know, what goes around comes around.

Absolutely, Terrier.

This wasn't a case of the autograph being authentic or not; it was done vindictively.

And like my friend Terrier wrote "What goes around, comes around."

There is NO Doubt that card is authentic and anyone that knows about cards and Derek Jeter signatures would agree. Is it possible this was pulled because It's not an Upper Deck card and a Fleer card for which Jeter used to sign for? It's obvious someone had this pulled but I'm wondering if that is why?

I'm sure if you showed ebay a Beckett Price Guide that card would show up as proof that in fact this card is authentic.

This is just very strange all the way around on eBays part.

eBay pulls this beautiful card down but all of the Horrible Mariano Rivera and LeBron James signatures that Steve Sipe has authenticated stay up.

Conspiracy theory.

No conspiracy here.  It was deliberately done to send me a message.

As you would know, ebay has a record of who sent in the report and when it was sent. They should remove and suspend that person from ebay permanently.  With all the crap going on in the autograph hobby right now, there is no room for this type of vindictive actions under any circumstances.
