An authentic autographed Derek Jeter baseball with the aforementioned inscription would have sold for well over $1,000.00. 

This once again proves how easy it is to sell forgeries on Ebay.

With Ebay so heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers, the forgery-selling business on Ebay is bigger than it was during the Operation Bullpen years.

It's 2023 and people still assume that Ebay filters out the forgeries; nothing could be further from the truth.

My question is, will the buyer submit it to Beckett, JSA or PSA for authentication and try to flip it?

Only time will tell.

In order for the forger to not display stops and starts in the autograph, the dopey forger penned a few extra letters in "Derek Jeter."
