95% of the "Mantle" autographs that I have observed on Budig baseballs are forgeries. That's a no-brainer.

But check out the below forged Mickey Mantle on Budig baseball listed by Ebay seller Pakratz2tkg.

This is laughable at best.

But it doesn't surprise that there are bids on this garbage.  Ebay is so heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse that selling forgeries on Ebay is easier than selling authentic autographs.

People assume that Ebay filters out the forgeries, but nothing could be further from the truth.
