Mac... they said you escaped. I knew you wouldn't leave without me. I was waiting for you. Now we can make it, Mac; I feel big as a damn mountain.

Oh, no...

I'm not goin' without you, Mac. I wouldn't leave you this way... You're coming with me.

Let's go.

Natalie: But even if you get revenge you're not gonna remember it. You're not even going to know that it happened.

Leonard Shelby: My wife deserves vengance. Doesn't make a difference whether I know about it. Just becuase there are things I don't remember doesn't make my actions meaningless. The world doesn't just disappear when you close your eyes, does it?

You see, in this world there's two kinds of people my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Memorable lines. Sometimes they are not from...hmm..."so-called" "great films".

I searched all the way back to a film I had not seen since about 1973 or '74. I had to watch all of the Legend of Boggy Creek (great fun) to find that what I was looking for is in Creature of Black Lake. Dub Taylor (who is going to forget him)...I remember clear as a bell his was in a doorway, rushing 2 young guys into his little shack at night with a light behind him and the Creature/Sasquatch thing screaming outside in the darkness. He said "Come on! Get the hell in here! Get the hell on in here!" - the way he said it was comical and crazy at the same time. Well, here we are some 40+ years later, I find the film, I see and remember the characters, the setting, the story, I see the shack and scene and all just as I recalled it - but Dub Talyor didn't say...anything! I consoled myself with the knowledge that I did successfully remember the "Travis Crabtree" song from Boggy Creek. Oh well.

So many quality films with so many quality moments! Think i'll start with this:

Grace: Oh, well, he's very popular, Ed. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, dickheads — They all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.
Mr. Rooney: That is why I have got to catch him this time. To show these kids that the example he sets is a first-class ticket to nowhere.
Grace: Oh, Ed, you sounded like Dirty Harry just then.

Now, i would have posted my Ferris multi-signed piece, but unfortunately it's a possible fake.

Great conversation post, Eric!
