Hello Everyone,

I am looking to buy this from another collector and wanted to know your input on this. I have compared this to additional Jeter signatures that he signs his middle name in and inscribes "Yankee Captain" on and it all lines up. It also comes from Steiner if you see the bottom left hand of the picture.  Your thoughts on this?

This incredible $799.00 Yankee display piece is a huge 16x20 full color photo, and shows the future HOF'er in action, and in he field making an amazing play. It is a treasure, comes marked by Steiner in a lower corner but has NO hologram attached. It is a Lee approved 10, has "Yankee Captain" added as a bonus in his hand, and show off on this easy HOF investment is easy from 60 feet away!

It's definitely real, no question.  Steiner has been in business for over 25 years, so long before 1998.

Weird..cause the things that throw me off is the last part of the middle name(compared to the eBay version) & the J in Jeter. Those would be my concerns but if it comes with the holo that easies the concern to a degree!

Yeah nothing wrong with having to many jeters. I'm just starting to organize my collection & it's a headache. Everything's at my parents house & my mom didnt like things displayed so I've got a basement & closets filled with too much. Think I've got a solid 40-50 Jeters(not really sure since its been over 15 years since I've looked at everything laid out). My main piece is a Jeter rookie bat $ '96 WS Team Signed Ball w/everyone. I know I've got a ton of team photos that need completing. Those I really need to find & get completed! Way to easy to start, just hard to finish especially since Posada was the hardest auto besides Bernie!

Either way good luck with your decision!

It's real because the signature is clearly authentic.  Jeter has an erratic signature and when he signs his full name it is never the same exact way. I was correcting your statement that Steiner started in 1998 because it's simply not true.  If you're going to post here with an attitude I suggest you get your facts (and grammar) straight.

Yes my phone did not capture below the Steiner water mark. This does have the holo.

Those two threads are for Fake Jeter's being sold on eBay. Thanks for the insight though.

I'm just trying to get people's opinions to see if it is worth getting that's all. Just thought of it as an odd item. Thanks for the input.
