Jim Carrey common preprint certified by JSA being sold by Steiner

I was really surprised to see this one in

a Steiner auction. I don’t know Jim Carrey items but this is a well known preprint sent out to ttm requests over the years. How could JSA get this wrong and Steiner not catch it?

unfortunately it is bid to $72 already. M

How could JSA not catch this!? Live ink? Not live ink? What are people paying for? This common preprint has been in use for 15 years or more! I am seeing this more and more - and it is unacceptable. I am still trying to figure out why it was even sent in! GRR!

I agree totally. Some mistakes are understandable but not this one. This kind of thing kills credibility.

Someone should forward that to Spence.

Shameful, as Eric says, this has been around for over 15 years.

Two companies who I think have seen much better days.

Another reason not to play with freeloading stickers and such companies. This should have been caught before being sent in  - at least 2 parties can't ID live ink. JSA is this case is one...
