Meeting a Star When You're in the Cheap Seats

The funniest story that involves Ashton Kutcher I heard around lunch time. The show Two and a Half Men is coming back for it’s 11th season, but they aren’t bringing back 19-year-old Angus T. Jones. For those that aren’t familiar with the show, he’s the “Half” in Two and a Half Men.

Some may remember he recently had a YouTube rant in which he talked about his Christianity, and encouraged viewers not to watch the crap that was on that show. So this move hardly comes as a surprise. I just wonder what they’ll do about that title. Talk about jumping the shark.

Rumor has it Kutcher will be making $700,000 an episode. How hysterical is that?

Now, what’s stranger than even that kind of salary, is the story I heard when I turned the news on after dinner. He got in a fight at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California. It involved a fan…but in a way all of you autograph seekers can appreciate.

Kutcher was in a VIP area, watching performances from Dwight Yoakam and Nick 13, when a fan approached. Kutcher was reaching over the ropes to greet the person, when a security guard pushed them both back. This got Kutcher upset, and a violent shoving match ensued. This resulted in the actor being thrown out.

Kutcher’s friends were holding him back as he was yelling. I’ve always hoped if I get into it with a big guy, my friends hold me back. It’ll make me look tough, and keep me from getting my butt kicked.

Witnesses say they felt it was the security guards fault, since it wasn’t like the fan was bothering Kutcher.

yeah, but hooray for Kutcher to acknowledge the situation and tell the goon off. Looks like he was making an effort to sign or photo op with the fan.

I love it when security says no autographs and the star is standing in front of you says yeah it's OK. Security works for the star, not the other way around.
