New to the group, I have been collecting for, about 15 years but just recently really got back into collecting. And those forgers should be ashamed!!

Man, these are all KILLING me.  I signed so I could comment.

Word of advice regarding Tony Gwynn (who, by the way, is possibly the nicest and most gracious person to ever sign anything for me):  The easiest way to tell a fake signature is, strangely enough, if the first name looks too much like "Tony".   Every autograph I have of his looks like it could very well be "Jerry" upon first glance.   The only things that have really changed since the 80's are his switching from a "cursive G" to the "6"-looking  one he uses today, and the occasional, and seemingly rare instances of a looping "y" in his last name.  I only have one of these.  Most times, the "y" ends with a straight line down, disconnected from the "nn".

Thought I'd include an example of each from my collection.

Ebay seller and scammer johnjohnwh98 continues to try to sell his forgeries.

Here is his latest auction.  It is a brutally-horrific Roger Maris forgery.

Lmao look at his Mickey ball for sale right now. "Came from grandma's collection, he saw it get signed."

Notice the "accidental" glare on what we can already tell is a HORRIBLE "M" in Mantle.
