This is the typical Mickey Mantle "Florida" forgery.

According to EBay seller stevd0818, he bought it at a estate sale.  The majority of this "Florida" forgeries are sold at estate sales, charity auctions, local auctions, Proxibid, AuctionZip, etc.

They are sold to buyers to know ZERO about autographs.  These forgeries are sold at cheap prices and the buyers immediately look to flip it on Ebay for a profit.

I see alot of forgeries listed on this site.  Which is good.  So I have a question..If I`m not a Mantle expert like some of ya`ll are.  Would it be the same to train my eye to the forgeries out there as it would be to train my eye to authentic ones.  How should I go about it?

use my exemplar files to train your eyes what a real Mantle will look like. After hours of studying, you should be able to pick out these horrible forgeries in 2 seconds. It's really not hard to see at all. Good luck.
