Something funny about trying to get an autograph from someone that is a bit....deceased.

In the November issue of this months Autograph magazine, there is something I noticed a little strange.

Sure the magazine offers 300 celebrity addresses with each issue, along with 5 guidelines to follow for more success.

Guideline number 5 states, " Be Patient! Responses may take weeks, months, or sometimes even LONGER.

There is a celebrity that the magazine gives an address for this month , a sci-fi writer, who's autograph I myself own.

It is famous writer, Arthur C Clark.....who actually passed on in March of 2008.

So, if you do send for his autograph from the magazines listed address, remember guideline number 5. You may be waiting, sometimes even longer!!!!

I thought this was quite funny!!!

Hey, I sometimes write for this magazine, so who better to poke fun at ourself......ok Kimberly, now I have to see what else you may have let slip through.....ha ha ha . :)

I have it from a reliable source, that Arthur C. Clark fakes his death. Therefore, he'll still sign autos via the mail.

And, on the sci-fi front...you may think Stanley Kubrik, director of 2001: a space oddysey -- is dead. Well, yes and no. I have it also on good sources, that his head is frozen along side Walt Disneys. When he's thawed out in hundreds of years, I'm sure he'll be signing Clockwork Orange movie posters.

(end with Twilight Zone music)
