Has RACC always been A closed group?
I looked them up but when you sign in .No Access.
How do you join . I hear them mentioned a lot. Is there a trick or something.
I must admit I am not 100% Sicilian ,But I don't think that is the issue.
What am I Missing?

It had been, but it is currently a public group as the owners are trying to push membership past 5000.

Well they chucked me out so thars one less to the 5000 lol
Yes i to have been booted out of racc, that lasted a month.
I will never buy anything of Michael kasmar in the future or any of his clowns!
Please tell us why Justin steffman, why it was that you had to delete the Beatles thread on racc, then repost it without beckett and Grad in the photo with john breenan.
What is your guess?
Actually, not "enough said." If you have actual grievances, it's more helpful for the collecting community to hear them.
As far as I understand ,you had one bad dealing with Josh Clark. I don't know why you want to bash the other guys. I have bought 1 thing from Micheal Kasmar (Aretha Franklin) a nice auto with proof. Justin I have communicated with through Facebook and is an intelligent and interesting guy. You had a bad dealing several years ago but were happy with RACC until one of the administrators banned you recently. If you have other valid complaints address them.
RACC has over 70 Trusted Sellers currently, a list which includes many of the most reputable non-sports autograph dealers, eBay stores, and memorabilia sites in the hobby. Your issue with 1 of the sellers on the list happened over 4 years ago in a completely different Facebook group well before RACC even existed.
The fact is, the seller in question has had thousands of successful transactions before and after your transaction and he continues to satisfy new fans/collectors every single week. You have stated that this means nothing to you, however it is an extremely important factor (equal to authenticity) when running a great Facebook group which includes buying and selling.
We have the feedback thread on RACC for a reason, so everyone can be fully aware of who is doing a great job selling and who isn't. Should #TeamRACC apologize for relying on feedback from the 5,000+ members rather than taking the word of one random guy who has now changed his name online (at least) 3 times and threatened the moderation team that he will "post all over the internet unless" we let him (you) back into the group?
I respond well to communication: I think the hundreds of members whose issues I've personally helped to resolve would attest to this fact. I don't, however, respond well to threats or demands that we do such and such "or else." It's not your group, and you have no idea how much work the team has put into it.
I have no interest in influencing what people think of your reputation. To be frank, I had never heard of you before you joined the RACC Facebook group and posted that dramatic thread about your 4 year old issue which didn't happen in RACC. Aside from you now popping up on smaller sports groups and here on AML to bad-mouth the best autograph group on Facebook, which I've spent 2 years helping to manage (with zero benefit), I am not really thinking much of you.
If you're relieved to no longer be a part of RACC, then I'm truly happy to hear that. This means I can get back to focusing on relevant, current issues in the community.
Everyone is welcome to their own opinion, and mine is not any more valid than yours, but I think the RACC is an excellent FB group.
Most of complaints I've heard from Autograph Live members about the RACC are that they are upset about being removed from that FB group. Almost all of our members who are upset about being removed from RACC are fine members here.
Occasionally I'll hear something about a member there not being on the up and up, and when I've brought that up to Justin Steffman or Mike Kasmar, they have always seriously looked into it.
The RACC can do what they want, but perhaps getting a second opinion before someone is permanently removed would be worth considering. Especially if there's bad blood between the moderator and the one they want to remove.
As for the RACC authentication service....
I want to give them a chance to prove themselves!
I love that they get lots of opinions on each submission.
I don't know how good experienced IP collector-dealers generally are at authentication, because they don't have to study and compare their inventory to make sure it's genuine if they got it signed themselves.
But if they can improve accuracy in the toughest areas of the market, modern entertainment and music, that will be a big boon for collectors.
