Epperson doesn't have to sign off on anything his not comfortable with, real or not. There are certain artist that are in a high risk category, generally easily forged, that tpa's would pass on.

Sure buy it if you feel comfortable with the autograph, you sound fairly confident about it.

Roger has an excellent reputation, but nobody on this earth gets it right 100% of the time. A few months back, I stumbled upon a Freddie Mercury letter that was sold at auction with his approval. The letter was a fake and when I reached out to let him know, he did everything in his power to fix the situation and the buyer got his money back from the auction house. Having said that, the man wouldn't have the awesome rep he's got had he not done his job well for the most part for years and years before that. It's entirely possible that he got it wrong here, but also, remember that just because the gentleman has a photo of a similar item being signed by her doesn't mean it's the same item he's selling, nor does it necessarily mean that the item he is offering is genuine. I understand your concern, but as far as I can tell, the general feeling in the collecting world is Epperson before PSA. You're free to buy without his approval and get the PSA cert if you'd ever like to resell it. It's up to you.

can we see the scan and proof photo ? nothing appears to be attached?

Hi , i just found this picture .

I hope help you .

Attachments: No photo uploads here

if you saw a photo of her signing the EXACT item that you purchased, why would you even ask anyone for an opinion?

In that case, Michael..if you have photo proof, you don't need any COA to resell.

while some collectors still value the PSA or other TPA cert, there is nothing better than actual photo proof. I think you are covered in that area.

Photo proofs can be altered.

Then take the PSA cert and buy it if you're comfortable.

I must have missed this "photo proof"? The image I saw means literally nothing?

Where's the image?
