Happy to help, Jan. I could not find many more of the photo so I started looking for other examples of that same signature on other things.

Really? Wow. None of us had it in hand and the scan was of low quality. The blue example is certified as a genuine Sharpie signature. One of these obviously can't be genuine. As the reduced version in black from the OP carries over the canvas texture from the blue noted earlier, it seems the blue canvas Sharpie signature was the source for the signature on the photo in question. PSA/DNA UO5929

It looks like comparing this signature to every single Springsteen signature on the internet (to verify that none of them perfectly matched) turned out to be a conclusion-producing option after all. Or if you searched for signed canvas specifically... that's brilliant. 

Jan, are you able to share who the seller is and on what platform they are offering this item for sale? How much were they asking?

Just for fun comparison, I've attached a screenshot of one of my exact proof videos paused just after Bruce signed this same motorcycle portrait for me. Maybe it offers insight into his signature size etc. for future reference, with this one being 11x14 sized.

Ah yes. And it's also the 2nd result on Google images apparently. So he's not only a liar, but also lazy.

I'm surprised he didn't go all out and put a Bruce with a guitar sketch on that tiny 5x4.

So odd.
