Here’s another seller I was looking at. Anybody have any experience with them? Again the price seems out of whack.

Price are so insanely high -- why even bother with his stuff?

I know. They are high. I emailed him inquiring about sending the poster to Beckett and also tried to discuss the price. He offered to knock off $1250 right off the bat which makes me a bit weary. I didn’t give him an offer. And what also seems wierd is that he has over 800 items on Ebay and they were all listed at the same time. Is that even possible?

The prices are crazy, but the stuff seems legit.

As for the listing times, you can use listing tools on eBay, or just relist items en masse.

I see. What he’s asking and what he’ll actually get are two different things. Right now I’m very concerned about authenticity. Once I find a seller I can trust I’ll put an offer in. I really need to have zero doubt that it’s authentic though.

Sorry John don't get it! There are plenty of legit items out there with a PSA or JSA sticker on it for way less money. As I said if you are not sure you can even contact Epperson for a quick opinion or and ask here. I don't know what strategy you are following picking the most expansive and overpriced pieces and trying to deal the guys to a regular price? Only they ask high prices for their items doesn't make them more legit. Such pictures as shown I would see in a 300-400 Dollar range. Why even bother with a dealer that asks 10 times as much as the value of the piece is? Another thought of me is, why should I spend that much money on a band that is actually around and all members alive and in their mid 50s? Plus they don't seem to be impossible to get signatures. Even Vedder signed in the near past multible items at once so I don't really see a fully signed album priced over 1000 US$ of value.

I’m sure you’re right. I’m new to this and have really no idea what the proper price would be for these items. Ebay is all over the board. It’s probably not the best place to be looking as a newbie. It’s easy to get swindled. I’m being patient though, and picky. I want it to be the right item and the signatures have to be clean and neat. I don’t mind spending a little extra for something I’m in love with. This will probably be the only piece I get as I’m not a collector just a fan. I started looking a while ago and started to get confused about prices and legitimate sellers. My research brought me to this forum and I’m glad it did. I’ve already learned so much. Thanks again to all who replyed. Any more info/advice is much appreciated:)

This is something I would recomand even Dave is missing he should be easy to attend

Turbo-lister. Prepped beforehand and launched simultaneously. A horrible way to market yourself on Ebay. A preferred method is to fan your items out so there is a proportional amount of them closing each day, around the clock if listing BIN. If you're putting up 800 items using 30 day listings (or good until cancelled, which regenerates every 30 days unless cancelled), is to put up 27 pieces per day (27 X 30 = 810), thus trying to set them up about 50-55 minutes apart. What this does is to present the most visibility. It keeps you visible every hour on the big board.
