Hi there,

I recently found a Mickey Mantle signed photograph at an estate sale.   Can anyone tell if it is authentic?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks :-)

I'm leaning towards real on this one took a couple days...

Usually when you see the words " Mickey Mantle" & "Estate Sale" you don't even have to look to KNOW it's a fake.

In your case, you found a needle in a haystack. Not one of his most sought after poses but a nice photo never the less. Congratulations!

Thank you so much,  any idea the value of the signed photo. Any information is greatly appreciated. :-)

With authentication you are probably looking at around $175 give or take.

Without authentication, probably around $150 or a little less.

If you want to sell it quickly, price at $125.

Steve's assessment is right on.  There are many Mantle's on ebay with high Buy it now prices, and they just sit there.  Here is one that is priced at $200.00 with PSA cert, and it still hasn't sold:

Thanks, Tony. Yes, I was trying to focus on realistic selling prices. eBay is chock-full of hundreds of Mantle signed photos for $200+... and they just sit there unsold.

You might get a higher price for a different and uncommon pose. But in terms of the standard common poses he signed at shows and private signings, the prices above prevail.

Steve,

I appreciate your feedback.  I think your assessment is correct.  Many thanks :-)

Thank you so much for taking the time to review the photograph.  I appreciate your feedback and glad it appears to be authentic. Many Thanks Brenda

Thank you :-)
