My dad passed this down to me. His grandmother went to elvis Presley concert and caught hankerchief thrown from stage then he signed backstage. Also I have the menu they passed out at front lobby. Says Las Vegas Hilton.

wow that's a nice gift
you must have a very young family if your Dad's grandmother got it in the 70's
Being written on a scarf, this one is going to take a serious expert to authenticate
This one is too far out of my league to make a judgement
Not sure what you mean but I'm 29 if that helps. Also its a hankerchief, not scarf. Thanks for taking the time to look at it.
ahh my apologies but you stated "scarf" in the original post
I hope it's Legit as it would be a super special item to have for sure
lol
no problemo
Elvis is tough to authenticate even on paper at times, but you may want to consult Roger Epperson on this. It will cost you $15 but well worth the minimal charge for a RnR expert opinion.
Give it a day or so here to see what folks say.
May I ask if you are planning to keep it or sell it?
When my dad passed this is what he left me so I'll hold onto it for now. Im interested in it because I've heard the story of this night so many times and I remember asking him about this jar he kept in his closet. That's what he kept the hankerchief in. He never opened it. It was his favorite story to tell. I showed a friend after I aquired it and they didn't believe me. Want to know if it was true story or just a tall tale.
That's a great story and keepsake
I really hope it's a true story and something to cherish
Here is the link;
pay the $15 then email him a photo
And thank you for the reccomendation. I will look him up.
Hi Puckett,
Goodcat is right, it’s hard to authenticate on fabric. Your handkerchief looks like it was signed by Elvis to me though.
I hope so. I used his advice and paid Roger Epperson for his expertise so we shall see.
I read somewhere that Elvis is one of the most autographs that gets duplicated or recieve a fake. Until I did my research I never knew autographs, etc was a hobby. Its like its own underground world in a way, lol.
Hope you have a good week
Thank you Steve
It's great you did some homework and yes Elvis is heavily forged because of his value
I wish you the best and hope it's authentic
Please let us know what Roger says
As Steve said, it does have traits of being authentic IMO as well
