Hi,

I would sincerly appreciate your opinions on this set currently for sale on eBay. No LOA but several "testimonials" regarding the provenance, including one allegedly from George's sister.

Thanks!

these were NOT signed by the Beatles

May they be secretarial?

I looked at these. Likely secretarials, they have that ink colour.

They look like they could be Beatles Fan Club secretarials.

Thanks a lot!
This is was what I believed but I have not much experience (and it is difficult to learn from peers because most of experienced collectors are reluctant to explain why an autograph seems, or seems not, authentic, so that to not give tips to potential forgers... what I may understand).
What is interesting whith this set is the comment of the seller: "because Freda was the secretary ruling the roost she ensured fans got authentic signatures." Also the "COA" from alleged George's sister stating that "most authenticators are unaware of what the early Beatle (sic) signatures actually looked like!

Not signed by The Beatles!!!
Looks like someone tried to copy the stamped signatures from the bubble gum cards...

Not authentic

Not real. And I agree with Jim Cushman, signed to mimic the bubblegum card style (but poorly). Not even sure they are fan club but it would make sense with the name inscribed. The testimonials are worthless, too.

Thanks to all.

There is a very good reason this set is missing a LOA / COA. Really, really, really bad forgery!!!
