Under good magnification I also see some shakiness / hesitation mostly near the end of the autographs where you might expect to see it. I’now have some concern and would need to compare to some others from this period.
At least a couple of people must have thought this was real as it just went for £28,000 before buyer's premium. That means someone will be paying at least £35,000 in total.
Just had a look at the two Frank-authenticated Rubber Souls on the census thread. I have to say that they are more convincing than this one - much looser. The albums themselves all seem to be in remarkable condition but I wouldn't be surprised if Frank's were tarted up a bit by a wizard restorer prior to sale.
I listened to about 30 minutes of the SAS auction and I can't say it was confidence-inspiring. Some obvious trash was being sold - who in their right mind auctions a Hendrix (matted with Noel and Mitch) for £300?
