Thanks Steve...I did a bit of checking on the other writing..a girl called Kathy has many in hand autographs of stars from the 50s and 60s and photos with buddy also. The strange way buddy writes his “to” is similar..

What I did notice after much research is that buddy didn’t dedicate many..it was usually just his name..

Great research, Danny. Roger is very sharp on Buddy Holly, so between your research and his authentication, I don't think you have a thing to worry about.

It’s a lovely item. I’m from the uk so there are some autographs over here because of the one spring tour he did in 58..I also overlaid the “a” over his own photo that he’d written on the back..the lean is very similar too...
