Awhile back I purchased a Rolling Stones newspaper. It was OKed by Roger Epperson before I purchased it. I didn't see, nor can I now see, there was any problems with it. I matted the paper and eventually offered it for sale on eBay where it was pulled by them.

I have since found out that this item sold on eBay in the past without a problem.

Yesterday, I received information from a member on this site who noticed this in a previous discussion and was informed by them that this is a known forgery style.

To also be fair, I have seen an email where Roger Epperson again(today) responded this set of signatures looks fine. Also, I have in my possession a ticket to the event on the same date as the newspaper, attendance wristbands for the event, and photo of the event site and inside during the concert.

I simply would appreciate to figure out if these signatures are, indeed, genuine or do they appear suspect. I both love and dislike a challenge and this is one to me. Appreciate any and all thoughtful responses.

Thank-you.

Not sure what that means. Do I want to ask?

I think there a lot of mistakes that are made.

What is "500 occasions" referring to ?

Matt, Incredible collection !!!  Wow !  ...and over 200 Ronnie original paintings ?  I love his stuff and would love to see more.  Perhaps you could start a discussion highlighting some of your pieces.  I know there are many others here who would love to see everything !  Thanks for contributing.

Absolutely stunning! You should open a museum! :)

Good!! Roger Epperson don't know the stones signatures... Ha ha ha fantastic!!! A rock authenticator don't know the stones signatures!!??? Fantastic!!!

What's your point, Tiziano? These signatures fooled a lot of people for a long time. Nobody, except yourself, has said that Roger does not know Rolling Stones signatures. Roger is human; not perfect. Do you have some kind of vested interest in this? I think you protest too much.

I don't still understand...

A rock authenticator can't wrong in a stones set... Sorry but i think it. It's not possible!! Also i saw that these autographs are few strange... Steve send many collector to Roger Epperson for an opinion of an expert but have sense after this wrong??? I still don't understand...

I would like to see that as well, Matt. I'm impressed! Maybe even a Rolling Stones blog here at the site. Two thumbs up!!

Tiziano

OK WHAT ???!!!!

You mock Roger and at the same time say you believe Joe's signatures are authentic because Roger said they were good.

Can you tell me how your thought process works and what sense this makes?
Because now "I DON"T UNDERSTAND" !!!!!

If 50 people say not genuine ... And only one say genuine (epperson). I believe to the 50... No???
