Hi Everyone!

My name is Jude Montoya - I currently reside in Albuquerque, NM. I'm new to the group!

I met Paul in 2001 in Beverly hills and gave him an Elvis record for his birthday, but i wasn't successful in getting an autograph. I've seen him about 20 times total since 1993.

Does anyone have any advice on how to be successful at this after or before a show? Ive tried everything...everything from holding up a sign to getting that expensive hot sound package.

Also, I'm always looking to buy his autograph. Anyone have any for sale?

Thanks for your advice and for having me!

Cheers!

Jude Montoya

Hey Jude.....(Yeah,...I know)......I have an extra McCartney if your interested...it was signed in L.A. on October 7, 1994  while Paul was promoting his wife Linda's frozen foods. Let me know....Thanks.

Welcome to the site! You've seen Paul nearly 20 times! Wow. That's better than an autograph. I have three. You can see them in my photos section. If you like any one of them, message me.

Saw McCartney for the 1st time in May 1976 at the Boston Garden..."Wings Over America". Was also an extra in his concert film,"Get Back".My self & my 2 sons were in the front row...had a chance to talk to Paul & Linda...shook his hand...and we're in the film...an amazing day!!!

Priceless, Jim. I've been a fan of Paul's since I first watched The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. Unfortunately, I've never seen Paul preform live.

You've gotta catch him! Just the sound and his charisma on stage is unmatched!

Hi Jude,

welcome me to the site.

I’m also a huge Macca fan, and have a large collection of his signatures which I’ve accumulated over many years - all in person . I’ve written a few times on this website about my observations about getting his autograph - it’s getting VERY difficult ! Street signing is now almost impossible I would say . Around concert venues may be possible . But from my experiences he is always really gracious and polite. A real class act .

Very nice, Ricardo! I've interacted with him, etc and he's been very cool. I think he has a great memory because he always seems to remember people's faces. I'm gonna try next year to really make it happen!

Hi Jude,

Welcome to Autograph Live! Many people have gone after him 20 times and haven't gotten him once. It'll be one heck of a challenge to get Paul to sign for you unless he writes another book. If he does, you have a good chance of getting him to sign it at a book signing.

If you're jonesing for a Macca, you'll get good advice here on whether one you're considering is genuine or not. You may even be able to buy one here at a good price, but that's not what this site is about.

Very cool! Thanks so much my friend! Sounds like I'm in great company!

Jude,

Don't lose hope. Paul still signs,  just not as often as before. A friend of mine just got him last week. But it's tricky and you really have to know his patterns.

Once you meet him, yes, he's nice but quick.

Jude lives in the US, New Mexico. McCartney hasn’t been there since the 90s.

He will be in Phoenix next June, which is close to Jude, but he only has a half dozen stops in the US, and that's the only one in the West.

Yeah! I was thinking about seeing him in Phoenix. He might announce California soon. I caught him at his first show in Las Cruces in 1993 - awesome show!
