Getting Snookered. Can anyone beat my loss?

I lost $5000 on a one-of-kind JFK signed photo.  Are there any forum members willing to share what they've been snookered out of?

Not snookered on an autograph. YNH snookered me out of 3k I was in the ER 9 hours heat related, saw an intern only. No treatment or diagnosis on top of the 3k , no less than three Yale afiliated Dr.s sent me separate bills and I never saw a real Dr. .....there many ways of getting snookered in life. As far as autographs go, I bought a collection of signatures for 1200 and they were damaged in the mail.

AMEN! I had a similar experience three years ago when I also had an ER visit.

Same experience in an ER in California while on vacation.  Didn’t even sit on a bed, just a chair.  They took my temp and listened with a stethoscope.  $3000 please.

Are you really sure you are out 5K ? I mean , do you have any recourse ?
