Saw these 2 identical photos online, for sale in 2 different places. but the signature is in different placements. Also, in both photos there is a spot in the "s" that looks like it was touched up, which makes me think it's an autopen and someone tried to repair them, but the signature on both are very slightly different. Any opinions?

I just don't understand what could account for that overdrawn s in both photos...

It is not an autopen.  The signatures are not at all identical.

I didn't really think it was, but I'm more curious about that overdrawn s. It must have been done by the same person, but they are for sale by 2 different sellers.

What about the dots of ink at the beginning and ending of each name? is that normal for a sharpie? Could it be 2 different autopen signatures?

I am not familiar with Jim Henson’s signature.  They are either both signed by Jim Henson, or both signed by the same forger.

Well they must be good, as that IS his signature!

It may be or it may not - those dots can indicate hesitation and he appears to have a clean rapid trail off in the exemplars at PSA Facts which look smoother in formation overall.

I would be more interested in researching whether or not Jim Henson did a mass signing of that particular photograph in green ink.  Best of luck, Patricia.  Please keep us posted.
