Before I continue, below are links showing hundreds of examples of forged Mickey Mantle baseballs, photos, etc. found on Ebay (the most dangerous place to buy autographs if you're a casual collector or impulse buyer).

Check out this piece-of-crap forged Mickey Mantle baseball sold by Ebay seller Allthosewhowander for $605.00.

I was curious why this garbage reached a bid of $605.00, so I checked the bidding.

Well guess what; the bidding is "Private."

Check out the below image.

Here is the forged Mantle baseball and the forged "NO 7" inscription.

This is a typical and mass-produced Mantle forgery from the 1990's.

Obvious and laughable.

Don't you just love it when they use the old "Ticket From The Signing" to convince people their garbage is authentic.

Getting back to the bidding.

Well guess what again....

The forged Mantle baseball has been re-listed by Ebay seller Allthosewhowander.

Did a shill bidder win the first auction?

Ebay should never allow "Private Bidding."

what an idiot PERIOD. god awful ball.

I hear you, Fudd!

$605? Damn shame. Could get a really nice mantle ball for less than that. Certed or not.

I read on the listing. How Noble.

Mickey Mantle signed Official Bobby Brown American League baseball. Autograph was obtained in person at the New York Yankee's Reunion in New York City on Sunday May 13th, 1990. Autograph ticket is included with the ball.

Please note that a portion of the proceeds from this sale with be donated to The Lymphoma Research Foundation, New York, NY in the name of 'The Mick'.

After the seller re-listed it, I have strong feelings that there wasn't a legitimate winning bidder.

Shill bidder and a banana mantle lol great combo
