Rock star gallery fakes sprinkled in with the legitimate autographs

Just went to rock star gallery's website and while they do have a lot of legitimate autographed albums.i know for a FACT that their full band Led Zeppelin signed albums with John Bonham, and the signed original Lynyrd Skynyrd Street Survivors flame cover are 100000% bulls**t,how do I know? I own a autographed Street Survivors 8-track that was signed by the band in altomonte springs fla. from oct 17 1977 on the day it was released in person, there were NEVER any promo advanced flame cover sigs of the band as a matter of fact the band signed their names to their faces on the centerfold of album, also the forgers finally figured out that Ronnie van zant used a capital Z and Steve gaines used a capital G in the previous forgerys of this album.also this owner has the NERVE to post a picture of him with Jimmy Page!!!!! While he is selling fakes, also there were at the time maybe around 300 fully band signed Street Survivor albums,so for these gallery's to have supplies of this album is complete B.S.

All their U2 stuff are awful fakes.  All signed by the same idiot forger.

I think we've discussed this dealer on the forum before a few times.

If I had the money to burn I would love to expose these places to the local media, I'm very passionate and I know everybody on this site is about calling out business that are flat out ripping people off and people SHOULD GO TO JAIL!!!!! I just contacted someone who is close to the Stevie Ray Vaughan estate, that the Vaughan family have this company prove that these are legitimate SRV signatures, that's why I play the lottery

Interesting.  Where are the legitimate items?

This owner shows himself with the likes of Jimmy Page and other rock stars to prove to unsuspecting buyers that if they are with this owner than the autographs "Are 100 % authentic " I bet he never showed Jimmy Page or Gary Rossington these albums, this is the 2nd time I've seen this place have a street survivors album for sale,Forever Legends would have a street survivors every 4 months

We understand the point...but can you point us to authentic autographed items on the site?

Hey you know you are absoulutley correct,I went back to look again and I could not find anything legit that I would buy. :-)

After looking at a good number of the items they have, i feel very confident that everything i looked at was 100 percent fake. I would be shocked if their was one authentic item on the whole site.

They have framed collections available of the rarest stuff. Nine band-signed Led Zeppelin albums framed together, all but the last one with John Bonham. Three signed Hendrix and The Experience. All the Grateful Dead. All ridiculous forgeries of course.

Steve...please...you're a riot.

After all, who would ever buy 9 band-signed LZ LP's if they ALL don't have John Bonham.

:)

From Rock Star Gallery:

What the heck is this suppose to be!!!

Looks like they were signed by a 4-year old.

This is a freaking train wreck.

That is why someone should take up the mantle and create a litigation-safe web site hosting information on ALL forgers, all forged items, etc.

The main thing we do here is help protect collectors against forgeries, just like Chris is and others have in this discussion.

There's no such thing as litigation safe, because people can sue you even if it's 100% sure that their case will be immediately dismissed.

Autograph Live falls under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act:

Section 230 says that "No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider."
