I just received this in the mail I won it from eBay from authenticsigningsinc on Ebay. I received the following pieces and was told to re-attach the piece to the poster. I am concerned because the “e” on the end of “Stallone” does not look like that notorious squiggle I see on every single authentic signature I see online. I’ve included pictures of everything I received if somebody can please just tell me it’s authentic for sure :)

No it wasn’t damaged... he took the piece off on purpose so he could roll the poster and told me I could reapply it... unless I wanted to pay $50 for shipping for it to be sent together. He didn’t tell me this until afterward of course... so I was slightly irked as the shipping said $20. He did inform me and I reluctantly agreed after a short email battle... and I did get the item for $600+ less than it is on the site. In a way I get it but I am slightly bugged the signature wasn’t better. Either way I’m happy that the consensus seems to be that it is authentic... and that was my main concern :)

Hello Kayla, I am sorry I missed the shipping bit - I have not been sleeping at all and I finally did. I would not deal with that place again! You said "...and I did get the item for $600+ less than it is on the site..." NO, I don't think so. That was a different item. This is an important point here I believe. This is "discounted" because of the lack of quality and even assembly. It does not and never will match its brothers physically and will always be worth less than its counterparts IMO.

I was close to selling mines a few times thinking i could purchase something else instead and if I ever wanted to I could probably replace it some day down the line but I honestly don’t want to take the chance on getting one like that so i decided to keep mines

Wait that kinda came out a bit rude which was totally not intended, I just meant I wouldn’t want to deal with the same issues as you did, and I’m very happy with my signature, so I’m definitely keeping mines, also you can always just attach the canvas as directed and add it to a frame, but please use uv protected glass and even at that do your best to keep it out of any light, light is a natural killer for autographs and with your high dollar purchases it’s best to take all the precautions you can now before you regret it later

take care and sorry you went through so much drama, even though it may not be top shelf it’s still a cool and authentic signed item

Thank you for the tip about then UV protectant glass... I would have never known that. And yeah it’s been a struggle getting an item at a price I can afford... so I guess really I am just gonna be happy at this point :)

Hi Kayla, please look into options for attaching the fabric to the image they sent if you are going to copy the presentation. I really don't think simply taping that down with an unknown double-sided tape is a good idea. I wouldn't want to see the item damaged. Either way, you will certainly need a mat to prevent the autograph from contacting the glass in the frame.

What he sent me is what he said is used for the presentation when they are originally applied. Hoping that is honest. What kind of mat do you mean for the frame?

Take this to a good frame shop and get it done right. They will know exactly what to do. As long as you are happy that is all that matters. I'm sure the gift will be cherished for many years to come.

I suggest bringing it to a frame shop and asking for suggestions about reattaching it to the poster.  They use acid-free materials.  Explain the situation to them.

I completely agree, Joe W.

I’m not even sure where to go for something like that! Like Michaels?

Hi Kayla,

A real framing shop. But there is budget. But then, you have time. Look over the framing tips I linked to and online to see what is involved. Use Google and see what a mat is. Arm yourself with some info :)
