Let it be known that eBay seller id: cobracarebear is a seller of a large inventory of fake autographs. On Sunday, January 26, 2020, the sad day of the passing of NBA great Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi, this seller sold a fake Kobe signed 8x10 photo for $2550. He issues his own COAs labeled for his business cobracarebear.
He also has a large inventory of other fakes including the likes of Keith Richards. He has been on eBay since 2005. How has he survived 15 years on eBay? Perhaps he only recently started selling fake autographs, but I have my doubts.

Good work, $2,550 - what is wrong with people. His feedback shows someone called him out when they said-" Failed ACOA authentication by 5 people- FULLY REFUNDED-"
Good question...what is wrong with people? How can they be so stupid to bid this obviously fake item up to $2550? I see other fake photos are selling around $750-$1000 or so. I mean if you’re going to throw away your money...at least try to throw less of it away, right?
And the worst time to buy is right after someone dies...especially within hours of their death! Hopefully whoever bought thus junk will realize he or she got scammed and get a refund like the one you noted above.
Agreed, never buy when emotion is high or do anything! I remember when Jonah Lomu a famous rugby star died a couple of years ago. Prices were up to $1,000 for his signature after the news and several forgers made money but then a week later they were only getting $120-$150 or less and soon stopped bothering. Hopefully, as you say the people bidding and buying will wise up
