Thanks, Ballroom. You are one heck of a researcher.
Yeah, no good, that sucks, especially the "Mccartney" yikes. I always feel bad for people who get duped. But at the same time, I don't get why people don't study and research this stuff first. While it won't make you an expert, just a few hours of looking at good examples of their signatures and bad fakes/Aspinall stuff becomes very obvious. Research is half the fun of this hobby.
Such an important date in the boys career , unfortunately autographs that were NOT signed on this date & flight do find their way to get the history signing of Feb 7TH 64 , these are Aspinall set on this discussion & you don't need Tracks to tell ya that ! or would they as only 12 seats in 1st class Pan Am , only 3 genuine sets have concrete provenance from London to NYC inc 1 detailed letter & Pan Am postcard signed for a crew member - the rest are baloney & not correct from Pan Am flight to NY & most that even purport to be are not , Fact . In another discussion remember a Business like most it is what Dealers & auctioneers want & like John sung ...MONEY.
