Appears authentic although signed in an extremely dark area.

Yes, bad contrast obscuring the signature. I'd pass on this one.

Only one thing, would you pass because of quality/value or because the signature seems fake?

Alarmed, no. Although, poor contrast does sharply decease the value of the signed photo.
