Edward Van Halen signed album. Is the signature authentic?

Hi everyone,

Would like to know what you guys think about this EVH signed album. It belongs to my brother, and was found at an estate (or garage) sale years ago. I couldn't find any examples that look similar, but thought I'd post to confirm one way or the other.

Atypical. It may have been signed many years ago by someone who did not know any examples of his actual signature. Sorry, Jamie.

Hey Mike,

Thank you kindly for your response. Yeah, I knew it was a bad sign when I couldn't find another example that looked similar. I just thought there may have been a small chance it could be authentic due to factors I've learnt being a member here (People's signatures sometimes change over the years, there can be a big difference between a seated/non-rushed signature vs. standing/rushed, etc, etc).

Anyway, thanks again for confirmation.
