Hi all,

A few years ago I inherited a fairly large collection of autographed 8 x 10 photos of movie and television stars. I'm not really sure how to check the validity of the signatures, nor the value. The collector was very trusting with the people from which he bought, so I don't know if he was duped or not.

In total there are about 750-1000 autographed photos with a sample below.

Is it possible to show some pictures to get an idea of the legitimacy of the signatures?

I am sorry to say the Paul Newman and Robert Redford appear to be less than authentic.

Thanks for the quick response. This picture had a "certification" from Justin's Collectibles. Would it be a fair assumption that Justin was not too reputable?

Yes, Paul is way off. Dont know Redford since he hardly signs anything.

Signatures are not real and signed in same hand.

I don't know Justin's collectibles. There could be good ones and bad ones.

There is a Justin's on eBay. Not sure if it's the same one: https://www.ebay.com/str/justinscollectiblesandantiques
