If for some reason this is how he was signing at any time in his life, you would see others that are authenticated by PSA or JSA or Beckett.  If you only see similar that are not authenticated, then that tell you something.  There is nothing in this signature that even appears to be close to a real Jordan signature.

Okay I put on my detective hat on and worked the "Google" machine and came across this nugget. A tweet by Darren Rovell (Former ESPN analyst) that included pictures of Jordan signatures (baseball card autograph strikingly similar to the signature in question) from Steve Grad  that were deemed NOT authenticate because it was believed they were signed by whomever received Jordan's mail (aka secretarial signature). So appears maybe Mr. Steve Grad smarten up a bit since authenticating this questionable signature back in 2005. See below..

Here's a better screenshot of the tweet.

I did some digging and this is definitely a real genuine Jordan signature. I know you got some confirmation on another thread but I saw this version of a signature on a 1986-87 team signed basketball verified by JSA and then a popular website (rareair23.com) that verified that this was an atypical version of his earlier full signature. So in my opinion you're good!

I got a negative response from JSA and i was prepared for that, because people told me TPAs are currently rejecting that style..

But i just dont understand how those companies work, so they accepted like a hundred autographs this style before(i saw many from JSA, PSA, BAS) and all of the sudden they are not accepting that style and its not MJ signature? How is that fair?

So all of those past accepted signatures are going for a few thousand today in market and that is ok, it just doesnt make sense.. If you are a legit TPA like those companies, you should stick by your opinion, you cant change opinions over night so 100 signatures like that will be with Coa and in 2022 we are not accepting that style? Imo TPAs are loosing credibility working like that..

Sorry hear, unfortunately authentication isn't a science and it's based mostly on opinion(s). With that said, you will get inconsistencies. Unsure if they found reason to believe this signature style is secretarial or what since approving similar styles in the past. All I can tell you is this is a somewhat atypical signature and with all the Jordan forgeries out there JSA might've err on the side of caution with this one. I think it's real with what limited research I did but I am certainly no expert. I wish you could get an exact explanation why they didn't pass an autograph especially given the money you gamble to get some of these higher profiled people authenticated (like Jordan). In my experience they seem to give you very vague prewritten explanations for not authenticating any item which doesn't tell me much.

There is a reason it's sitting in a flea market and not on ebay.

I certainly agree - but lightning does strike. I once found the 1953 original 35mm master print, 7 reels in the original tins, marked the property of the producer no less, of Ed Wood's cult classic Glen or Glenda with Bela Lugosi strewn on the floor of an outdoor garage weekend flea market in NYC - including "Reel X". Another time 35mm negs of Davd Bowie. Same place too.
