Hello,

I would really appreciate honest opinions on these indexes signed by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Thank you very much, any insight is greatly appreciated.

Can you explain why a forger would use a fountain pen when they had no need to?

I use one everyday.

That wasn't the question

Too bad, that is my answer.

In my humble opinion…not a fan of the Burton.

Thank you, appreciate your time

Can't say I'd want to buy any of the Taylor's shown in this thread. Can't speak to Burton but if it is from the same autograph book as the OP Taylor I'd be sceptical.

Could you please explain what is wrong with any Taylor's signature posted? Not trolling just would like to know for future. Thank you!

I was not saying that none of the shown examples were real, just that I wouldn't want to buy them. I am, however, very sceptical about the OP example because it is in the style of a rushed in-person signature while actually looking carefully crafted and a little too legible. Both the first and second names also look rather more spread out than most examples I've seen. Maybe this study will help:

Thank you. That's what I meant by my question - those are rushed versions. And thank you for explaining why you don't like the OP ones, does make sense.

I would not pursue either.

Just for the record. The autographs illustrated are from PSA/DNA RR auction and UACC dealers.
