clarke nuttall, In my humble opinion, it looks to be in the ballpark.

He really does looks like his son, who played Charlie X on Star Trek.

He did!

I get a kick out of the caption of the clipping on yours, David.  "modest-seeming American leading man."  If that was his image, he really went against type in one of my favorite Hitchcocks ..... STRANGERS ON A TRAIN ..... where he was anything but "modest-seeming"!

How about this one?

Etienne, Why he was on the silver screen and not you or me……..Senior was scarce to rare……first I would ask the seller of your op to send an image of Gail Patrick on the back……I could only find 2 very vague signatures of Senior signed as Robert and the "R" seems different….these are on the net at this time for sale……Just a thought, could your Walkers be Jr's with the big "R"??

Some of Jr's big "R's" who died 2019.

Thanks for posting those, David.  I'm kind of thinking that the "Robert Walker" I posted is not real.  Certainly not "Sr." ...and off for "Jr." as well.  Kind of looks like an attempt but is now a mish mash of the two.  It doesn't belong to me...I just came across it offered online.

Still would be interested to see the Gail Patrick on the back…..Etienne, back in the day buying intact autograph books was a mixed bag….either a completely filled real book or a partially completed real book with the rest filled with garbage…..I think Walker Sr. would be hard to come by…….caution is needed without confident history. In my humble opinion.
